Outdoor learning

We realise the need for passing down our knowledge and skills to future generations of woodland lovers. We want to ensure that our love for woodlands is sustainable and widely available to as many people as possible. We run courses for teachers, playworkers, nursery and preschool staff where we link the hands on, practical skills to the theory.

We also run training courses in partnership with hand picked organisations that complement our ethos, such as bushcraft skills for anyone wanting to learn or simply give their well honed skills a boost.

INSET Training Days and Professional Development (CPD)

These training days will be tailored to your needs and requirements. They can be used to form part of an INSET day, during the school term or during weekends.

The training days are available as a full day or an overnight. These are great for bringing your staff team together, working in unison, but most of all having a great time, whilst experiencing first hand what it actually means to learn outside the classroom and rekindle your sense of adventure.

    Twilight Teacher Training sessions

    Your reviews

Our day in the woods with Louise and her colleagues left my staff buzzing! They could not wait to get back into the classroom and put into practice some of the ideas that they had learnt. From a developmental angle, the INSET also really brought the staff together; it was fantastic to see them working together so closely whilst thoroughly enjoying themselves. One member of staff captured the day perfectly when she commented 'the best INSET ever!
