We run regular Woodland Family Days throughout the year. They include the Great Nut Hunt, Mad Hatter Tea Parties, Gruffalo Adventures, Playdays, Festive Gatherings and many more celebrations!
Our Woodland Family Fun session are in the beautiful Somerset woods, at the foot of the Quantock Hills.
An adventure awaits you down in the woods this half term holiday!
Designed for families with under 8’s. Join us in the woods for some woodland activities, storytelling, explore our glorious woodland with lots of fun activities.

Thank you so much for a fabulous morning of slightly spooky activities on Friday. Our 3 year old twin grandchildren loved it. It was a really good balance of guided activity, crafts and with some time to just chill in the woods. The craft projects had been carefully curated to achieve success across the age range, and showed how to repurpose rubbish creatively. We particularly loved the bats and had them hanging from our rear view mirror on the way home (also the best place to stop everywhere being covered in wet black paint!). The hot chocolate was a huge success and the face painting added a sense of occasion and fun. However, the unexpected stars were the compost toilets, the twins and I were fascinated by them.
For us the morning was then topped off with a great recommendation to the Rocking Horse Cafe - a huge hit with its delicious food, lovely staff and beautiful garden.
